JOIN US FOR A COMMUNITY MEAL

THIS THANKSGIVING

There is something about gathering around the table with family and friends that just screams community. Community is kind of our thing. The best thing about community is making room for others, the stories told and the history and traditions built. We want to hear new stories, make room for more people and understand the history of Indigenous People this Thanksgiving.

Chef Sherry Pocknett

Chef Sherry Pocknett is the owner of Sly Fox Den and Sly Fox Den Too in Charleston. She is a local celebrity chef in Indian Country. She was also hired to revamp the menu at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center.

Lets build better, bigger, more beautiful community together around a Native American's interpretation of a Thanksgiving meal. Chef Sherry Pocket, Mashpee Wampanoag, will cook up a meal that is sure to satisfy while we all learn to "decolonize" our Thanksgiving this year!

Hosted at The Vault the Tuesday before the Thanksgiving holiday -- a catered meal will be served and a discussion around indigenous stories and the power of sitting around a table with a meal will be shared by Chef Sherry Pocknett.
