The name, NewCity Church, is a direct reflection of what makes Newton, MA historic, respected, and beloved. Our name derives from the City's former name "Newtown" and its reputation as "The Garden City." A homage to the heritage and identity of the City and a deep desire to provide an environment for people to experience God and the Church anew with fresh eyes and hearts is what runs deep in the fabric of our identity.

We are a community of people who are passionate about justice, equality, and allyship. And, we deeply value local mission, community engagement, and doing good.
